Many of the most popular Quest 2 games, such as Beat Saber or Superhot VR, all require users to stand while playing. Some developers have added a seated or short person mode for people with disabilities, children or people who prefer to play sitting. However, the vast majority of games still make it difficult to do so.
Nobody wants to watch Netflix or play Tetris on their feet, but Quest 2 doesn’t always feel designed for the long sessions that might come with sitting gaming. If you are looking for a more traditional and seated gaming experience, you will need a few things to help improve the experience. Here are some of the best sitting VR accessories for Oculus Quest 2.
These VR accessories will enhance your Oculus Quest 2 experience

The Elite Strap with a battery provides the convenience needed, but also makes extended gaming sessions more palatable thanks to the built-in battery pack. The ability to charge Quest 2 while playing makes everything easier as long as you are willing to pay the money. Fortunately, the belt comes with a carrying case for your Quest to help cushion the sticker shock.

Best virtual reality gaming chair
If you’re looking for a stunning gaming chair, look no further than the Anda Seat Kaiser 3. It hits every mark a top shelf gaming chair needs, but at a lower price than the competition. The tilt feature makes it too amazing Watch Netflix in VR without the neck strain that comes with using a headset for extended gaming sessions.
AmazonBasics High Back Leather Executive Chair

If you’re in the market for a new office chair to play your VR games in comfort, it’s hard not to recommend Amazon Basics Executive Chair. Although it does not have some of the amenities that you would find in other high-end office chairs, it is more than priced. Sitting at the crossroads of comfort and style, it has almost everything an office chair needs at an unbelievable price.
DeadEyeVR Universal Battery Kit
Get some balance
This universal battery pack serves as a powerful replacement for the Elite Strip with a battery. If you are experiencing neck strain after playing Quest 2 for extended periods of time, this battery pack is a must. It acts as a counterbalance to the well-known unbalanced task. So not only will it help offset the weight of the Quest, but it also makes it easier to charge while you play.
Anker PowerCore 20100 mAh
play by force
The Anker PowerCore 20100mAh has powerful features. It sets the bar for portable chargers, as it can withstand charging and has plenty of power. If you are looking for a portable battery to put in the general bag, this is the battery to beat. Unlike the battery included in the Elite Strap, the PowerCore can easily be used to charge other devices, such as a smartphone or Nintendo Switch.
Logitech G333 VR Gaming Headset for Oculus Quest 2
immersion inside the ear
The G333 VR gaming headset was designed with Quest 2 in mind. In fact, Facebook and Oculus worked with Logitech to engineer the best possible audio experience out of the earbuds. That alone makes these things a no-brainer. Quality of life add-ons like Velcro straps to ensure the rope doesn’t get tangled up while playing on Quest 2 is just the icing on the cake.
Logitech G PRO X Gaming Headset for Oculus Quest 2
Over the ear but not in the sea
If you’re looking for something a little more appealing, need better bass, or just want to block out the rest of the world, the G PRO X for the Quest 2 headphone is another headphone that’s a perfect fit for the Quest 2. It’s hard to recommend than the G333 headphones. Lightweight, because putting on over-ear headphones may put a lot of weight on your head. However, if you are looking to improve sound quality, or have loud roommates, the G PRO X is the right pair of headphones for you.
Just keep in mind…
Many gaming accessories are moon but offer pebble, especially those aimed at a specific gaming audience or category of games. VR accessories are no different. There are a lot of useful extensions for Quest 2 out there.
However, since we’re talking about using it while seated, you should totally keep in mind that the comfort and function for use while seated will outweigh everything else here. That’s why it’s hard not to recommend the Quest 2 Elite Strap or the DeadEye Universal Battery Pack.
The bottom line is Quest 2 isn’t comfortable, and while it might not be a problem for a quick 15-minute session of Beat Saber, sitting for more than an hour watching a movie on Netflix in VR doesn’t have to be painful. Both headbands solve the problem in different ways. If the Quest 2 is a bit heavy for your taste, I’d recommend the Elite bar with battery. Other than that, if you’re okay with dealing with some extra weight, the extensive battery pack will help make up for the uncomfortable and lopsided Quest.
